Three decades rooted in flowers, landscapes and the science of growing things well.
Founded in 1992, Shengyin specialises in flower seedling breeding and mature-plant cultivation and sales, landscaping engineering design and construction, growing-media production and sales, and eco-tourism park development — making us an integrated horticultural enterprise. Over nearly three decades we have grown from a single flower shop into a group of six subsidiaries and one engineering research centre, spanning healthy agriculture, agro-processing, ecological protection and biotechnology.
We have built a ‘6 + 1’ low-carbon, circular-economy industrial chain around the three themes of Environment, Agriculture and Biology, linking the entire agricultural value chain from upstream to downstream. The group holds multiple national enterprise qualifications and operates several cultivation and production bases across China; it has been recognised as a Dongguan Municipal Leading Agricultural Enterprise and a National High-Tech Enterprise, and in 2012 received the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (First Class).

Our technologyHIPPEASTRUM
Shengyin was among the first organisations in China to collect and research hippeastrum. We have gathered more than 300 native species and commercially registered cultivars from the Netherlands, Australia, South Africa, Japan and Israel — some fragrant — and created over 8,000 new germplasms. Around three million self-bred plants are now in mass production. In 2017 two of our cultivars passed expert appraisal by the Guangdong Crop Variety Approval Committee, and at the 9th China Flower Expo our ‘Shengyin No.1 — Rose Princess’ and ‘Shengyin No.2 — Bridal Bouquet’ won Gold and Silver respectively; in 2018 three more cultivars were appraised and ‘Shengyin Hippeastrum’ was recognised as a Guangdong High-Tech Product.
LANDSCAPE ENGINEERING
From 1996 Shengyin has undertaken more than 1,000 landscaping projects, averaging nearly one million square metres of work a year and making a lasting contribution to the greening of Dongguan. More than 30 of these — including Dongguan Avenue, Dongcheng Avenue, Lianhua Villa, the Hongmei Town environmental upgrade and the Dongshen Highway expansion — are recognised as the city’s model landscape projects.

TWO GARDENS
Shengyin Garden, our 95-mu science-education base established in 2000, combines research, demonstration, leisure farming and nature education, and has been recognised as a science-education base at both municipal and provincial level. Nearby, Shenli Garden spans 1,000 mu in Hengli Town — an island wrapped by water and fed entirely by underground springs, known locally as ‘Water-Lily Island’ — offering fishing, fruit-picking, barbecue and camping, and serving as a Dongguan agricultural-industry demonstration park.
