Founded in 1992, Shengyin specialises in flower seedling breeding and mature plant cultivation and sales, landscaping engineering design and construction, growing-media production and ecological tourism park development. Over nearly three decades we have grown from a single flower shop into a group company with six subsidiaries and one engineering research centre, spanning healthy agriculture, agro-processing, ecological protection and biotechnology.

The Genus We Have Grown For Twenty Years
China’s Largest Hippeastrum Germplasm Bank
Shengyin is one of the earliest organisations in China to collect and research hippeastrum. Since the early 2000s we have gathered more than 300 native species and cultivars from the Netherlands, Australia, South Africa, Japan and Israel, and created over 8,000 new germplasms. Around three million self-bred plants are now in mass production, and in 2017 two of our cultivars passed expert appraisal by the Guangdong Crop Variety Approval Committee.

Shenli Garden — A Leisure Agriculture Destination
Set in Hengli Town, Dongguan, Shenli Garden covers 1,000 mu, more than 200 mu of water wrapping a 400-mu island. Fed entirely by underground springs and known locally as Water-Lily Island, it offers fishing, fruit picking, barbecue and camping.

Shengyin Garden, built in 2000 on nearly 100 mu, was funded by the company around three industries — agriculture, environmental protection and health. It is recognised as a Dongguan Science Education Base (2008, 2016), a Guangdong Science Education Base (2018) and a Dongguan Agricultural Science Education Practice Base (2021).
